The late Theresa Linden (Ballybay)

A friendly kind Lady, who passed away last week, at home., will be sorely missed by her devoted Husband John, Sister, In-laws, Nieces & Nephews. To all who mourn the loss of a respected Lady, we offer our deepest sympathy. May she enjoy eternal rest.
The late Josie Drudy (Derrygooney)
After a long illnes, Mrs Drudy as she was affectionalty known passed away last week in Kildare. Her remains returned to her home in Derrygooney and she was laid to rest in St. Patricks Bawn. Josie wife of the late Master Drudy was a native of Derrygooney all her life and is succeeded by her daughters, brothers, sisters and large family circle we express sincere sympathy on the death of this kind, soft spoken lady.
May she rest in eternal peace!
The late Pauric Mc Cabe (Monea)
The entire Community is in deep shock today (Monday) of the untimely death of a perfect gentleman. Pauraic an employee of The Department of Agriculture. He was known throughout the County, for his honesty, helpfullness and his willingness to help everyone. Pauric will be sorely missed by all farmers & neighbours. His loss will be extreme for his Wife Mary, Daughters Patricia & Yvonne, Son Declan, Inlaws and large circle of friends.
May God love, provide, comfort and strenght to all who mourn Pauric and faith for reunification.
Hurling future in Latton |
On Wednesday, 24th November at 8pm a meeting will take place in the G.A.A centre to consider the future for Hurling in Latton and the competitions the Club may enter for 2011. All interested in playing or helping with a team of any age group is rged to attend.
As it may not be possible to field adult teams in 2011, any adult player who could assist with and underage team is invited to attend at 8pm on Wednesday 24th in the Latton G.A.A Centre.
Latton G.A.A Players Christmas Day Swim
The annual Latton O' Rahilly G.A.A. Players Christmas Day Swim will agan take place on this Chirstmas Day,Saturday 25th December at 12noon at Lough Avaghon, Latton with all proceeds going to the Holy Family School, Cootehill. National Finals this weekend in Bawn Handball Club. Top juvenile players from all over the country are competing and our own Eugene Mc Geough is playing in the under 15's. Good luck and enjoy to all players.
