Bawn & latton News - 11th April 2011

Congratulations to Rosella & Sean Clerkin on the birth of a baby girl.

Congratulations to Paul Gallagher who ran 26miles on Sunday in Milan, in the sweltering heat, in aid of Cavan / Monaghan Down Syndrome. Paul completed the race in four hours and forty five minutes, wearing a shirt reading Fingers & Toes Community Childcare and Balti Bus rural transport – for reaching publicity. All sponsorship cards to be returned by 25th April please.
Welcome to Rev. George Beattie as rector of Christ church Aughnamullen. Rev. George and his wife Marjorie may be the first in this area to be seen driving an electric car.

Congratulations to Sean Farmer & Julie Keen on their marriage last weekend.

Sympathy of the entire area is expressed to Hugh P Donoghue on the sudden death of his son Niall. Hugh P and his late wife Gretta who passed away recently were faithful delivers of bread to this area. To Hugh P and his Son Alan, we extend our deepest condolences on what is a double tragedy. May God comfort and bless you in this hour of need.
