Latton & Bawn News - 21st June 2011

Sympathy is expressed to Frank Kelly, Ballatrain on the recent death of his father.
Sympathy is also expressed to Sheila Duffy on the death of her sister in law Mary (Sis) Duffy. May God’s love comfort all who grieve.

Top Hats and Ball gowns for all Latton Folk - next month please make arrangements immediately for this long awaited day when speculation comes to an end, and our own Seamus, Professor, Councillor, football expert, bites the bullet and takes a wife. This wedding is like a royal event, with open invitation to all, just remember the date Friday 15th July, venue: Ballybay, time 9pm. Seamus is taking into account the current economic climate into consideration and marrying the teacher as the old cliché goes “The Laying Hen” . Congratulations to the Bride and Groom, the sting in the tail is that you have to pay for your own meal, however all proceeds will go to Ballybay Cancer Society. Please support this deserving cause, and well done to all who will contribute. A weekend of entertainment not to be missed. Friday 15th July to Sunday 17th July. Festivities include: “Wedding of the Year”, Karaoke Knights with BBQ, “Shorts  & Shades Disco” .
