Bawn & Latton News 16th August 2010

Congratulations to all our young folk, who received their Leaving Certificate results yesterday and we wish them well in whatever course they take into adulthood. May God give them enlightment and direction in these unknown times.

Good Luck to our locals that left Ireland for down under, Paul Sullivan, Leah Elliot, Grainne Keenan and Partner, and to Bernie Duffy and Siobhan Duffy all bound for down under. 

New Zealand News
Whilst on Holidays down under I visited the Malloys in Wellington. Paddy, Christine, Yarra, Finn, Hannah and Leah all send their best wishes to all their friends in Latton. Yarra is starting secondary school shortly. The twins will be making their holy communion. Finn is busy with his Rugby, Football etc

On Sunday 28th August after 11.15 Mass and in St. Patricks Bawn on Sunday 4th September following 10 O’ Clock mass. 

Harvest Thanksgiving in Christ Church Augnamullen on Sunday 11th September at 3pm. All are welcome

Birthday Celebrations
Congratulations to Jessie Shannon who celebrated her 90th Birthday at the weekend, with Family and Friends and to Sister Maureen (Jackie Coyles aunt) who also celebrated her 90th Birthday with a party in Mount Lodge. Congratulations to both ladies. 

Sympathy is expressed to Pat Lennon and Ann Mc Elroy on the tragic death of their cousin. We pray that all who grieve will accept God’s comfort. May he rest in peace.

Congratulations to Amy Larkin and PJ Mc Shane on their marriage last weekend in St. Patricks Bawn.
