Wedding Bells
Congratulations to Tony Brady, Cluain Alainn, Bawn and Stacey Medinia who were married last week in St. Josephs, Carrickmacross.

New Babies
Congratulations to Sheena and Jacob Coyle on the arrival of baby Samuel and also congrats to Eilish & P.J Markey on their new arrival.

Condolences
The late Francie Mc Entee (Latton)
Francie died suddenly last week at home. He had reached 82 years and was actively farming and driving up to the end. Francie was a very dedicated farmer and a very neat and precise farmer. He is survived by his sister Maureen, cousins and a large circle of friends. May he rest in peace.

The late Eddie Duffy, Carrickavelty
Following funeral mass in Carrickatee, Eddie was laid to rest in St. Marys graveyard, Latton. Sympathy is expressed to Eamon, Lilian, Maire, grandchildren and his wide circle of friends
Sympathy is also expressed to the family of the late Mick Finnegan. May they rest in peace. 

Bawn Handball Club AGM on Friday 4th November in the meeting room. All are welcome. 

Latton Social Services & Development Ltd
Directors or members AGM in January. This AGM is for first seven original members and current directors. Invitations will be sent out.

Fingers & Toes News
Enrolements currently being taken for free pre- school years commencing September 2013 and September 2014, Babies needed to be provisionally booked prior to birth.
Race Night on his Saturday night at 9pm in Latton GFC Centre. All Parents are urged to attend

Community CPR – Refresher course this Thursday evening at 6pm in GAA Centre. 6 – 8pm. Approx 15 minutes per client.

Class Act Drama – will visit Pre-School on Wednesday 5th and 12th of October and Thursday 13th of October. This is a travelling drama theatre who will work with pre-school children for 2 hours and 15 minutes in each session. 

Afterschool Programme – Commencing on Wednesday 5th October. 

  • Archery 8 – 12 year olds.
  • Ceol Music Tuition Tuesday 4th October with 5 – 8 years. Tin whistle tuition by Paul Gallagher.
  • Drama – 9-12 years. This year the Children have devised their own play around some of the staff as characters. Tuition will be from Natayla Murdock and Siobhan Mc Dermott.
  • Fit Kids – Every Tuesday for Junior and Senior Infants at €2 per child.
  • Martial Arts commencing on Friday 4th November at 3.30pm. 
Congratulations to the Senior Team on winning the County Championship!!
